Dear Mr. Archive,
Please find following some notices including a debate on Wednesday at UCC, Green Drinks at the end of the month and a Seminar on Regional Government Reform. Links to the Cork TEDx talks which feature Michael Hobbs debating the merits of being a stakeholder versus the role of being a protestor. New horticulture course at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa, EPA consultation on Fracking and see the You Tube on the development of a new gravity light.

Wed. 16th January:  Debate at UCC "Water, wave & wind power - a viable energy solution for Ireland?" 7.30pm at the Kane Building,                                        Room G01. Chaired by George Hook. Part of a series of debates are being organised by Future of Rural Energy in Europe      
                                  (FREE) throughout colleges in Ireland including UL, NUIG, Queens University, Belfast and UCC.

EPA Public Consultation on proposed Terms of Reference for a Programme of Research on Environmental Impacts of Unconventional Gas Exploration & Extraction.
A dedicated e-mail address, UGEEconsultation@epa.ie, has been set up to receive all submissions on the Terms of Reference document.  Interested parties and individuals are invited to submit comments to the EPA using this e-mail address only.  Deadline for submissions 8th March 2013       

Gravity Light, You Tube Link developed as an alternative to kerosene powered light in Africa, perhaps this can also have wider application here.
